Applications are invited from qualified Tanzanians to pursue Undergraduate degree programs in Algeria for the year 2013/2014. The medium of instruction is French.

2. QUALIFICATIONS
      Applicants must:

• have completed and passed Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education and have obtained an average grade of ‘B’ in the relevant subjects.
• not be admitted in Higher learning institutions
• not be older than 25 years of age by September 2013
• have good health

3. SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL;-

• not be allowed to change and be admitted to local Universities.

• have to purchase own ticket to Algeria and return ticket after completion of studies.
• have to meet monthly Top Up Allowance

Needy students may apply for a loan from the Higher Education Students Loans Board to cover the above items.
For those students who have already applied to join our local institutions using CAS, they are free to apply for these scholarships.

CUBA GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP 2013/2014

Applications are invited from qualified Tanzanian for undergraduate degree programme tenable in the Republic of Cuba for the academic year 2013/2014.

FIELD OF STUDY:
Doctor of Medicine

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must:
· have completed form six (Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education) at a date not exceeding two (2) years by August, 2013;
· have obtained principal passes not below “C” in Biology and Chemistry, Physics or Geography;
· not admitted in higher education institution; and
· be not more than 25 years old by August, 2013.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
Applicants must:
· submit certified copies of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education; Examination or Result slip for those who completed in February, 2013;
· submit certified copies of Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (O – level);
· submit photocopy of birth certificate;
· indicate reliable contact telephone numbers and e-mails; and
·  Applications from Zanzibar should be channeled through the Higher Education Coordination Unit of Ministry of Education and Vocational Training – Zanzibar.

Selected Applicants will be obliged to:
·  Purchase their tickets to Cuba for studies and back home after completion of study. NEEDY students can seek loan from the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board.

UFAFANUZI KUHUSU KUPITIWA UPYA KWA MATOKEO YA MTIHANI WA KIDATO CHA NNE MWAKA 2012

Mnamo tarehe 03 Mei, 2013 Serikali kupitia Waziri wa Nchi Ofisi ya Waziri Mkuu, Mheshimiwa Wiliam Lukuvi (Mb) ilitoa Kauli ya Serikali Bungeni Kuhusu Taarifa ya Awali ya Tume ya Taifa ya Kuchunguza Sababu za kushuka kwa ufaulu wa Mtihani wa Kidato cha Nne Mwaka 2012. Kauli ya Serikali ilielekeza kuwa matokeo ya Mtihani wa Taifa wa Kidato cha Nne mwaka 2012 yafutwe na yaandaliwe upya kwa kutumia utaratibu uliotumika mwaka 2011 ili Wanafunzi hao wawe  katika  mazingira  yanayofanana na ya wenzao wa  miaka  iliyopita kwa kuwa mfumo uliotumika mwaka 2012 katika kupanga matokeo na madaraja ni tofauti na ule uliotumika mwaka 2011 na miaka iliyotangulia.
Kwa kuzingatia mapendekezo ya Tume na Maelekezo ya Baraza la Mawaziri, Waziri wa Elimu na Mafunzo ya Ufundi, kwa mamlaka aliyonayo chini ya Sheria ya Baraza la Mitihani Tanzania, kifungu cha 20, sura 107 ameliagiza Baraza la Mitihani la Taifa kupitia upya Matokeo ya Mtihani wa Kidato cha Nne mwaka 2012. Aidha, imeagizwa kwamba matokeo hayo yaandaliwe kwa kutumia utaratibu uliotumika mwaka 2011. Serikali haikuagiza kufanyika upya kwa mitihani hiyo na wala haikuagiza kusahihishwa upya.
Hivyo, Serikali inapenda kuwahakikishia wananchi kwamba hapatakuwa na zoezi la kurudia usahihishaji wa mtihani huo kwa sababu hakuna dosari zilizobainishwa kwenye usahihishaji wa mitihani hiyo. Alama za watahiniwa ambazo zimehakikiwa zipo tayari, kitakachofanyika ni kwa Baraza la Mitihani kutumia alama hizo kuchakata matokeo upya kwa kutumia viwango vya ufaulu vilivyotumika mwaka 2011. Utaratibu ambao umekuwa ukitumika tangu mwaka 1973 wakati Baraza lilipoanzishwa, ni wa kuweka viwango vya ufaulu kila mwaka kwa kuzingatia ufaulu wa somo husika na ufaulu katika mwaka uliotangulia.


Kutokana na maelezo hayo, ni dhahiri kuwa zoezi la kupitia upya matokeo ya Kidato cha Nne 2012 litachukua muda mfupi na matokeo yatatangazwa hivi karibuni.
