Jason Statham Won't Star In 'Transporter 4,' But Will Return For 'The Mechanic 2'

It would seem that even Jason Statham has his limits. The action star doesn't always have the most discerning decision making process, and combined with a rather limited and defined range, it means his movies usually fit into a very specific box. But when it comes to the franchise that made his name, he's walking away from it slowly (as something surely explodes behind him).

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Luc Besson's EuropaCorp has given the green light to "Transporter 4," but Statham won't be back. Instead, the film will kick off a potential trilogy detailing Frank Martin's origin story. Good lord. So sorry Chris Vance fans, that probably means the star of the "Transporter" TV series won't be leaping to his own movie. But if you need more Statham in your life, not to worry, as he's reprising his role in a sequel to a movie you probably forgot about.

Remember "The Mechanic"? The 2011 remake of the Charles Bronson movie made just a touch over $50 million worldwide, so we're not sure who exactly is clamoring for a followup. But perhaps it makes a good tax writeoff or something because after being shopped around in 2012, "The Mechanic 2" is getting some fresh momentum. German director Dennis Gansel is now on board to helm the picture, with Statham back as assassin Arthur Bishop. No word yet on when it might roll as it probably needs to make a bit more in pre-sales to justify its existence, but given that Statham is a brand that guarantees a certain return, it'll probably happen.

Kiongozi wa kambi ya rasmi ya upinzani Freeman Mbowe ameshauri kwamba kabla ya mjadala wa mswada wa mabadiliko ya katiba mpya kuwasilishwa bungeni ungepitiwa kwanza ili kutoa dosari, hoja ambayo imeungwa mkono na Waziri Mkuu.

Kwa upande wake mbunge wa viti maalum James Mbatia ameeelezea mapungufu yaliyomo katika Katiba ya Zanzibar na ile ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ambapo Waziri Mkuu Pinda amesema mapungufu yote hayo yataondolewa baada ya kupitishwa kwa katiba mpya.

Suala la uboreshaji wa Bandari ya Dar es Salaam nalo lilmeibuka ambapo Waziri Mkuu akatoa maelezo ikiwemo upanuzi wa bandari hiyo, reli kwa ajili ya kuchukua mizigo bandarini kwenda mikoani na nje ya nchi pamoja na kukiboresha kitengo cha makontena ili kupunguza mrundikano wa mizigo.

Ulipofika wakati wa kipindi cha maswali na majibu bungeni Waziri Ofisi ya Makamu wa Rais mwenye dhamana ya mazingira Dokta Thereza Huviza akaelezea kilio cha wananchi wa eneo la Vijibweni, Kigamboni jijini Dar es Salaam kuhusu madhara yanayotokana na hewa inayotoka kwenye matenki ya kuhifadhia mafuta.

Aidha Dokta Huviza ameyataja mafanikio yanayotokana na utekelezaji wa Mpango wa Kupunguza Uzalishaji wa Hewa ya Ukaa - MKUHUMU kuwa ni pamoja na kulipwa fedha za kutunza misitu na ufadhili unaotolewa kwa wanafunzi wanaochukua kozi za uzamili na uzamivu katika hifadhi ya mazingira.

Mkutano wa Kumi na Mbili Kikao cha nane unaendelea mjini Dodoma ambapo leo wabunge wanajadili mswada wa mabadiliko ya katiba mpya.

New ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ footage teases upcoming trailer

A new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past is coming soon and today director Bryan Singer teases fans with a few snippets in the latest clip featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender.

In an Instagram video, Singer teases the latest X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer, which is reportedly going to be released on January 27. X-Men: Days of Future Past has a stout cast, including this year’s Oscar nominees Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender. Watch the short clip below:

We get a quick view of a majority of the key players from X-Men: First Class, as Singer continues to promote this film in excellent fashion. The director has constantly tweeted onset photos, as well as short clips like the one just released.

The film’s official viral website was also recently released and seems to be making waves with fans. It definitely gives us fun tidbits to enjoy until X-Men: Days of Future Past’s release date.

A tweet also went out from the film’s official U.K. account, which also reveals that there will be an “exclusive reveal” on the 27, but we won’t know if that’s the date the new trailer will be released until it hits.

The first look at Evan Peters as the character Quicksilver was released recently and had fans split on the appearance of the highly anticipated mutant.

X-Men: Days of Future Past won’t hit theaters until May but director Bryan Singer is discussing the next film in the franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse, which will focus on mutant origins. He discussed the fact that he’s co-writing the film as well as producing it, but is still in negotiations to direct.

We’ll be sure to release the X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer as soon as it’s available, so be on the look out next week.

X-Men: Days of Future Past’s release date is set for May 23, 2014. The film stars returning actors Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender. Also rejoining the X-Men franchise are Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, James Marsden, Ellen Page, and Hugh Jackman. Fan-favorite Peter Dinklage will be playing the film’s villain.

More than a year ago, BlackBerry released an all-new phone and operating system meant to re-energize and modernize the brand. And though it never really caught on, tests pitting the BlackBerry 10 Web browser against mobile offerings from Apple and Microsoft saw BlackBerry’s offering smoke mobile Safari and Internet Explorer on the Windows Phone by a fairly wide margin.

Plenty has changed since then — Apple released iOS 7 alongside a major redesign, and Microsoft issued some updates as well — but one thing definitely has not: Results of new browser speed tests published recently by New Relic show that when it comes to loading Web pages, BlackBerry 10 still tops the competition.

According to New Relic, which analyzed more than 16.8 million page loads from early October through early November last year, BlackBerry 10 devices loaded Web pages in 1.55 seconds on average. The second-fastest Web browser, Opera Mini 4.2, averaged page-load times of 4.78 seconds.

In other words, the BlackBerry 10 browser is more than three times faster than its next-closest competitor.

Apple’s Safari browser on the iPad came in at No. 3 with an average page load time of 4.91 seconds, and no other native Web browser was even included in New Relic’s top-nine rankings.

Report: Google’s Robotics Plans Not as Sci-Fi as Many Were Hoping

 Reports of overworked and underpaid employees in Foxconn’s Chinese factories — along with allegations of child labor — have led to a number of public reforms for the manufacturer. The company has also publicly mulled over plans to build robotic factories to help circumvent such reports altogether.

A partnership could prove beneficial for Google as well, providing a real-world test bed for the company’s robotic creations. The move could also allow the company to ramp up manufacturing, reducing dependence on other companies should Google create more hardware. Most notably, Google makes the Chromecast, a web streaming device for televisions, and Glass, an as-yet-unreleased headset computer. 

Whether Google’s relationship with Foxconn continues beyond the trial stage will be determined in the coming years. Recently, Google has made an effort to expand manufacturing in the United States, first through its failed Nexus Q set-top media box and more recently by way of a plant in Texas that made Google-owned Motorola smartphones. Google’s recently announced plans to sell off Motorola may lessen its manufacturing load, however.

It’s worth noting that, while Foxconn’s most prominent facilities are based in China, the company has plants all over the world, including a $30 million Pennsylvania location set to open next year. Those plans, first announced in 2013, included a partnership with nearby Carnegie Mellon that would see the facility manufacturing, of all things, robotics.

PAUL WALKER'S AUTOSPY REPORT

Paul Walker's entire body was charred through the skin it was burned so badly ... this according to the autopsy ... burned so bad none of his organs were suitable for donation.

According to the report ... obtained by TMZ ... Walker's body was laying supine in the passenger seat in a "pugilistic stance" -- that's a defensive position, as if he were bracing himself for impact. 

He had multiple fractures throughout his body, including his jaw, collarbone, and left upper arm.  There were also various ribs and pelvic fractures.

The report concludes Walker died from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries" sustained from the Nov. 30 crash in Santa Clarita, CA. 

According to the report, the L.A. County Coroner is preserving portions of Paul's organs in a jar -- sources tell us tissues are kept for a certain period of time in case of lawsuits.

Roger Rodas -- the driver -- suffered major head trauma with the top portion of his skull fractured and his brain exposed.

No alcohol or drug traces were found in either body.

The report also says there was "scant soot in Walker's trachea" -- suggesting he took a few breaths after impact.  Sources close to the investigation, however, tell TMZ, they believe both men died almost immediately.

And the report goes on ... Paul had 14% carbon monoxide saturation in his blood stream ... the normal level is 2%.  Roger had 10%.

According to the report ... after impact the car spun 180 degrees, struck a tree and nearly tore in half before exploding in flames.

How to Make Someone Fall in Love with You

Work on being the best you. If you want someone to fall in love with you, you need to be someone that people want to fall in love with first. Work on being the best you that you can possibly be and you’ll find that people will start loving you naturally. Who knows, maybe you’ll end up catching the attention of the person you wanted to begin with.

• Take good care of your body. It’s hard to love someone properly if you can’t even love yourself. This is something that shows to other people; they’ll notice if you can’t care for yourself and this will make many people lose interest. Exercise, eat right, practice proper hygiene and wear clean clothing that isn’t stained or full of holes.
• Go out and do things. Don’t be boring and just sit around watching television. Give your life a purpose and direction. Live a big life. Go out and travel the world, excel at a sport, make lots of friends. Even a homebody can find ways to make their life exciting and meaningful. Write a book about a subject that is important to you, take up an art like sculpting or painting, learn to code and starnmisn ddnjwiieet writing your own programs, or become an active member in an online community. Whatever it is, make sure that you are doing the things you always wanted to do. This passion is very attractive and others will take notice.
• Treat others the way you want to be treated. It may sound cheesy, but it's true. If you want others to treat you with care and respect, you better start acting that way, too. People are happy to fall in love with others who are happy, who give back, and who are genuinely nice to others.

Prepare for the emotional hurdles. Relationships are hard. Before trying to get someone to fall in love with you, be sure that you are emotionally ready for what that means. You need to love that person in return and be willing to make sacrifices for them. You need to be devoted to their happiness and your own, in unison. If you are too hung up on a past relationship, are more interested in dating someone else, or just generally not ready for commitment, don't try to get someone to fall in love with you.

• Consider how you feel about this person. Do you love them? You will want to be sure that you feel romantic love for them and not just the love felt between close friends. It can often be difficult to tell. If you don’t love them yet, then consider just letting the relationship develop naturally. If it is meant to be then you will both develop feelings together.
• Think about why you want to take this relationship more seriously. If you only want that person to love you in order to feel better about losing another relationship or to make someone jealous, then getting that person to fall in love with you is a bad idea. This is inconsiderate towards the very real feelings they may end up developing. This person needs to be ready for a more serious relationship, they need to be able to cope with the emotional stress of being with another person, and they need to be compatible with you. If they aren’t, you will be wasting your time and theirs and somebody is going to end up with a broken heart.

You'll find someone else before you know it and wonder why you ever felt upset in the first place.
   • Don't be clingy or overly pushy with someone who's rejected your feelings. Anyone that you have to try too hard to convince to like you is not worth all the trouble and will probably never like you. Pursuing a relationship too hard will only make you creepy and push people further away.
