Paul Walker Left Entire Fortune to His Daughter
At the time of his tragic November death, Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker had amassed an impressive
$25 million fortune. And this week, TMZ confirms he left it all to one woman: his beloved 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
Still, according to new reports, it won't come to her without some legal wrangling.
While Walker named his father, Paul Walker III, the executor of his will, his father is currently petitioning to have Walker's mom, Cheryl, named guardian of the funds—and legal guardian of Meadow, herself. This was, according to Paul Sr., his son's last wish. Complicating matters is the fact that Meadow, who was living with her dad in California at the time of his death, is now back with her mother, Rebecca Soteros.
Despite the months that have passed since Walker's untimely death, it seems the details of the fiery car crash that claimed his life are still so shocking to both friends and fans. If there is some solace that can be taken for those who loved him, it's that in the months leading up to his death, Walker was reportedly more at peace than ever.
"He told me recently he was the happiest he'd ever been," Walker's friend Brandon Birtell told People after his death. "It was directly because of the growing relationship with his daughter and the clarity that brought to his life."
That fact was backed up by Walker himself, who told US Weekly last year, "I'm glad I had her at 25, because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working."
